0:00Introduction
Lesson 0.1: how the course works.
0:04Why this course
Try asking an AI assistant which company to choose, in your own industry. The answer isn't a page of ten links. It's a block of text with three or four names, sometimes with sources. If your name isn't there, then for that person, in that moment, you don't exist. And ranking first on Google isn't enough to be there. This course teaches you how to get into those answers: with a method, measuring before and after, no tricks.
0:32What you'll learn
By the end, you'll be able to do four things. Measure: pick the questions that matter for your business, and see who gets cited instead of you, on which engines, with which pages. Open the doors: check that AI bots can actually read your site, and decide what to block. Get recognized: make it perfectly clear who you are, what you do, and why people should trust you. And get cited: pages that truly answer the question, a well-linked site, other sites talking about you. Plus a whole module for people who sell online.
1:06How the course is built
The course has twelve modules and forty-six short lessons, four to seven minutes each. Every lesson follows the same pattern: one concept explained simply, a real example, and a task to do on your own site. For the tasks, you get ready-made templates: spreadsheets and checklists to download. And at the end of every module there's a short quiz, to lock in what you've just learned.
1:32Free tools, and where CiteProof fits in
One important choice: everything we teach can be done with free tools. AI assistants, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, structured data validators, and a spreadsheet. CiteProof, the platform we built, only shows up at the end of the lessons, in a box that lasts a few seconds: how to do the same thing automatically, if you'd like to save time. No task requires it. This course has to work for you even if you never use it.
2:04Our rules
Four rules we follow in every single lesson. Every number you hear has a source, shown right on screen, with the date we checked it. No promises: nobody can guarantee you'll be cited by AI. We'll tell you what raises your chances, and how to measure whether it worked. Examples on demo sites are always labelled, and kept separate from real data. And since AI engines change fast, every lesson has a review date, and we update it whenever we need to.
2:34Where the method comes from
This method wasn't born in a lab. It comes from real projects led by Adrian Gramada, the founder of CiteProof. For an Italian luxury tour operator, work on content, technical structure and authority opened up a new channel: quote requests coming straight from ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, for over $209,000 in budget declared by the clients. For a women's health e-commerce brand, in a category where Google is especially strict, the key product-related searches reached first place on Google. These are cases, not guarantees. We'll use them to see the method in action, step by step.
3:14Exam and certificate
At the end, there's an exam: thirty questions, and a hands-on project. The project is an audit of a real site, yours or a client's with their permission: the five most important fixes, with the reasons why, and a ninety-day plan. Pass it, and you get the AEO and GEO Specialist certificate, valid for twelve months, because this field changes fast. The whole course is free, exam and certificate included. To get your certificate, you just register on citeproof.co.
3:46Your task for today
Your task for today: an easy one. Choose the site you'll use for the exercises, and make sure you have admin access, or written permission from the owner. Then write down today's date. That's your starting point: the one we'll compare your results against at the end.
4:14Next lesson
In the next lesson: the six-step method, the map we'll use throughout the course. See you there.
