0:00Introduction
Lesson 11.2: the work month by month.
0:05Why ninety days
The client has signed. Now what? You need a plan the client can read, and that you can stick to. Ninety days are enough for one full round of the method: measure, do the work, and re-measure a first time. Careful: it's not a deadline for results. It's the first round. At the end, you review the plan, with the data.
0:27Month 1 · the foundations
The first month is for the foundations. Week one: the approved questions and the baseline audit, with Module 2. Week two: bot access, robots.txt and the llms.txt file, with Module 3. Weeks three and four: who the business is. The fact sheet, structured data, the About page, with Module 4. Technical fixes come first: they're quick, and the rest of the work depends on them.
0:55Month 2 · content
The second month is for content. Pages that answer, with Module 5. Start with the questions where a competitor wins today. Internal links to those pages, with Module 6. And, if the client sells online, the product pages, with Module 7.
1:13Month 3 · off-site and re-measure
The third month goes off the site. Reviews, directories, mentions, communities: Module 8. This is where you get started: it's the work that takes the longest. And at the end of the month, the second audit with the same questions, visits and leads in GA4, and the report. Module 9.
1:34Every month
Three things repeat every month, from day one. An audit, always on the same day, with the same questions. The change log: what you changed, where, and when. And a short update for the client: what was done, what you see in the data, and what comes next.
1:51After ninety days
After ninety days, review the plan with the client. Look at the questions where someone else still wins, and at the outside sources that cite the competitor, and not the client. Those become the work for the next three months. And the measurement goes on, exactly the same.
2:08Your task for today
Your task for today: fill in the 90 days tab of the course worksheet, for your own site or for a client. With real dates, week by week, and a fixed day for the monthly audit.
2:33Next lesson
In the next lesson: managing multiple clients, with a system that holds up with five clients, or with twenty. See you there.
