Agency: clients, reports and white-label

With the Agency plan, Agency → Clients shows every site in one portfolio (score, change, last audit, fixes and alerts), grouped by client and sorted by what needs attention. There you create clients, assign their sites and enable a read-only report to share. Agency → White-label puts your logo, color and name on the client report page, the PDF and the monthly email.

Updated October 2026

The steps

  1. Open Agency → Clients from the sidebar.
  2. Type the client's name under New client and press Add.
  3. Assign each site to its client from the menu on the site's row.
  4. Press Enable client report on a site and copy the link to send it.
  5. Optionally add the client's email and tick Email the report every month.
  6. Open Agency → White-label, upload your logo, set name and color, and press Save branding.

The Agency section is where you work client by client: the overview of every site, the clients with their sites, the reports to share and your brand on everything the client sees. It is available on the Agency plan; on other plans the section is not reachable.

The portfolio

At the top of Agency → Clients, the Portfolio gives you the state of every site at a glance:

  • summary figures: Sites audited, Average score, Open alerts, Drops ≥10 and Fixes to apply;
  • one row per site with Score, Δ (the change against the previous audit), Last audit, Fixes to apply and Alerts.

Rows are grouped by client, with Sites without a client at the end. A drop of 10 points or more shows in red, and a last audit older than 30 days is highlighted.

With Sort by you choose the order. Needs attention is the default: sites with open alerts come first, then confirmed score drops, then audits that are missing or older than 30 days, then low scores. The other options are Lowest score, Biggest drop, Oldest audit and Domain.

Click a domain to open that site's Today page.

Clients and their sites

  1. Under New client, type the client's name and press Add.
  2. On each site row, pick the client from the menu. Choose No client to take a site out of a client.

To rename a client, edit the name at the top of its section. To delete a client, press the bin icon: its sites move back to Sites without a client, and active reports are not touched.

The client report

On each site row, Enable client report creates a read-only link to send to your client. The client needs no login and sees only scores and trend, not the fixes or your account. Next to the link you can copy it or open the report.

Below the link:

  • type the Client email and press Save delivery;
  • tick Email the report every month to send it automatically once a month.

Disable stops the shared link and the monthly email. CiteProof asks for confirmation first.

White-label

In Agency → White-label you set your brand once, and it applies to every client report:

  • Agency logo: PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, max 1 MB;
  • Agency name;
  • Accent color;
  • Hide "Report generated with…", to remove the platform's line.

Press Save branding. Your brand then appears on the client report page and in the PDF report. The PDF file name is neutral too, without the platform's name.

The monthly email to your client shows your agency name as the sender, and replies go to your account's email address. If you keep the "Report generated with…" line, the sender reads as your agency name followed by "via CiteProof.co".

Give a client read-only access

If the client wants to log in and look at their own data, invite them as Viewer from Settings → Team and pick their name under Limit to one client: they will see only the sites assigned to that client. The steps are in Team and roles.

Does my client need an account to see the report?

No. The client report is a read-only link that opens without a login. If the client wants to log in to the dashboard, invite them as Viewer limited to their client.

What happens to the sites if I delete a client?

They move back to Sites without a client. Their audits, data and active reports stay as they are.

Can the client see the fixes or my other clients?

Not from the report: it shows only scores and trend for that site. A Viewer limited to one client sees only the sites assigned to that client.
