AI Visibility Check

The AI Visibility Check analyzes a URL and verifies whether the main AI bots (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and others) can access it, giving an accessibility score. With email it unlocks the full analysis and engine citations.

Updated June 2026

If AI bots can't read your site, they can never cite you. This tool starts there.

The AI Visibility Check tool

What you enter

A URL (a page or the site's home).

What you get

  • An accessibility score (0-100) based on how AI bots and search crawlers see your page.
  • A grid crossing the bots (GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and the search crawlers) with the checks performed: access, robots.txt, page structure.
  • Unlocking with email: extended analysis, competitor extraction and the real citations across the 5 answer engines queried on your content.

How to use it well

It's the first check to run: if a bot is blocked, unblocking it is often the highest-impact fix. Use the result to fix your robots.txt and structure before working on content.

Difference from the Visibility Agent

The free tool analyzes a single URL on the fly. The AI Visibility Agent (in the product) runs the full site audit over time, with a historical score, Verify Bot–confirmed fixes and continuous monitoring.

What's the difference from the AI Overview Checker?

The AI Overview Checker looks at whether you're cited on Google for a keyword; the AI Visibility Check looks at whether AI bots can access your site and how citable it is, starting from a URL.

CiteProof tracks your brand's visibility across AI answer engines and tells you what to change to get cited.
