What is CiteProof

How it works in 3 steps

CiteProof works in three steps: (1) it audits your site across AI answer engines and gives you a score, (2) it shows you prioritized fixes, (3) the Verify Bot confirms each fix is live before the score goes up.

Updated June 2026

CiteProof is built around one principle: the score only goes up when an improvement is actually live. No inflated numbers, no "done" on trust. Here's the flow.

Step 1 — Audit and score

Add your site and CiteProof queries the main answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overview) to see if and how you're cited. That produces your AI visibility score, the baseline you'll track over time.

Step 2 — Prioritized fixes

CiteProof turns problems into a list of actions ordered by impact: missing structured data, absent FAQs, content that isn't "citable", technical issues. Each fix is explained in plain language, with the why it matters and what to do. Many apply with one click.

Step 3 — Verify Bot

Once a fix is applied, the Verify Bot re-checks the page to confirm the change is actually live. Only then does the score update. That's your guarantee that the number you see matches reality.

What about content?

In parallel, the Content Agent generates new articles optimized to get cited — complete with a hero image, in-content images and one-click publishing to WordPress. It's how you go beyond fixing what exists and create new chances to be cited.

How long until I see the first score?

The initial audit takes a few minutes: add your site and CiteProof queries the answer engines to calculate your baseline score.

What is the Verify Bot?

It's the check that re-scans a page after a fix to confirm the change is actually live. The score only rises after this confirmation.

CiteProof tracks your brand's visibility across AI answer engines and tells you what to change to get cited.
