Two plugin features ask the platform for something, and the platform counts them. They are separate from the Content Agent points.
The two quotas
- Image descriptions — 300 a month. When you turn automatic descriptions on, images without alt text are sent ten at a time and a vision model writes what is visible, in your language. The text lands in the media library, where you can correct it. Without this option the plugin still fills missing alt attributes at output from the library alt, caption, title or a cleaned file name, spending nothing.
- AI drafts — 150 pages a month. Every time you press Have the platform write it in the SEO box, in the sidebar panel or Write AI draft in the Overview, one page counts, whatever you ask for (short answer, questions or both).
Where you see them
- In Citeproof → Settings, the This month's usage block.
- In the Overview, above the Done by the plugin log.
- Next to the button that spends them: 4 of 150 drafts used this month under the list of things to do.
- In the dashboard, under Settings → Plugin.
The colour warns you: amber from 80%, red when used up.
When they run out
The button gives way to the date the quota comes back (the first of the month). Nothing breaks: alt attributes at output keep being filled from the library data, and drafts you write yourself in the fields.
Are the quotas per site or per account?
Per account: with three connected sites, they share the 300 descriptions and the 150 drafts of the month.
Do drafts spend the Content Agent points?
No. They are a separate quota, included in the plan, and do not touch the article points.
