Measured questions and Search Console

Category questions are asked every night to the AI engines of the plan: you see whether they cite the store or a competitor. With Search Console connected, the app turns low-click queries into new titles and metas, flags pages losing clicks and proposes searched questions as collection FAQs.

Tracked questions

For every collection the app proposes the questions a customer would really ask ("which X is best for Y", "X or Z, which one"). Active questions are asked every night to the AI engines of the plan (ChatGPT first, then Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and Copilot depending on the plan).

For each question you see cited, not cited or never measured, with the date. Measure now asks it right away, using one of the plan's samples.

Search Console

Connect Search Console from the dashboard (the app never asks for Google credentials). The Search Console: what to do section shows three lists:

  • Titles and metas to rewrite: page-one pages with many impressions and few clicks. Propose writes title and meta from the real searches; Apply writes them to Shopify.
  • Pages losing clicks: 20% fewer than the previous period, to update.
  • Searched questions: question-shaped searches; Add as FAQ puts them, with the answer, in the right collection.

On the phone

The same lists are in the CiteProof dashboard, Catalog page, with the same buttons.

CiteProof tracks your brand's visibility across AI answer engines and tells you what to change to get cited.
